Our love for xianyue, for co will never change.
No matter what the result is.

Many of us cried, cos we really care for co and we really love co to the core.
But after all those crying, let us calm down and look at the future, hand in hand.
The award is just a bonus, but what's most precious is the process.

我们共同经历所有的一切，慢慢地爱上华乐；
克服所有的困难，让友谊更进一步；
承受所有的压力，在不知不觉中成长；
走过漫长的道路，知道了团结的力量；
分享了一切快乐，留下了美好的回忆。

The award is totally not the goal we want,
what we really wanted to achieve is 感动全场 right, which i believe, we did.
I seriously think that RVCO is a 以感人为最高目的乐团,
no matter what the judges want and expect from the orchestras, we'll still stick to our 目的.
Our objective will never be to suit the judges' taste, but to fulfill the requirements of a real orchestra.

After all, music is meant to be human's second language,
it's used to express emotions and touch the bottom of people's heart.

We should be proud of ourselves, for touching people who really care for us.
We moved our teachers, our seniors, our conductors.
We've already succeeded, no matter where and when we did it.

Now, let's look ahead together.
SYF'o9 is never an ending, but it's just the start of our journey.
Like what Mr Lim said, for the sec 3&4s, we still have 1 more syf to go,
sec 2, 2 more and for sec 1 (xuanxuan in this case), you still have 3 chances to show your power.

We're getting alot of support from everywhere, so we must never 松懈 after this year's syf.
There's still a long long way to go, and now that we're so bonded, so motivated, so in love with xianyue with co, we can definitely do better next time.

The 2 years back seem so fast, yet the 2 years ahead seem so far away.
Although it seems so far from 2011, it means that we have 2 more years to bond ourselves tighter, to reflect what we're lacking in, to change to a better orchestra.

I believe that RVCO did it, and we still can do it 2 years later, and we can do it better.
I love RVCO forever, I love xianyuezu forever,
& I'm loving it more and more. So are you. (:

A note for sec4 seniors:

Please 乖乖的 wait for us (sec 3s) for 1 year in JC co, we'll come to join you all when we're year 5.
Although we'll miss you all like siao, but thinking tht we're able to reunion again, we'll work harder.
Let's 再次创造奇迹 in SYF'2011.

hello everyone (:
if i'm not wrong this is the first time i'd posted in XYZ blog ._.
lols.
got plenty of things wanted to tell you guys.
i thought that we are still not good yet at first,
but when i saw everyone's serious attitude towards CO,
i feel like crying.
i'm so touched by the fact that we are so bonded.
and it makes me feel bonded and committed to XYZ too.
that makes me skip my lunch and go CO room straight
and think about where else can we still improve on.
do you guys know that last time i wasn't like that?
that i always wanted to pon cca
feeling that CO is damn bore and tired blablabla.
i can't believe this sudden change in me,
and i guess it's you all, everyone, that
had transformed me into someone,
a real snr of XYZ to shoulder the responsibility of
ensuring the commitment and good attitude of XYZ.
when i left XYZ, left you guys,
i really wanted to leave sth important for you all too.

people say that i'm emotional ._.
that i cry in CO a lot of times.
but the fact is,
i won't cry like that in class or even at home in front of my parents.
it's just that i really feel like home when i'm in CO.
which makes me cry so comfortably.
so everyone, put in your best and enjoy the music.

anyway, some little comments from me is that,
please breathe in the same time after jinglan's ban hu solo
before bar 19 in wuti i (:
and try to play as soft as you can before mu qin.
it will leave a greater impact on mu qin.
also those parts which are suppose to be soft
please play softly too.
that will then produce a big contrast for louder parts.
also, the dynamics for cicada kuai ban must do it too ~ ^0^

HEY XIANYUE!

I came to rescue our dying xianyue blog. (: I bet alot of you come to this blog often but realising that no one is tagging so you all don't want to tag also.
Anyway, I shall stop my crap.

We all know that some not very pleasant things happened during break today.
Perhaps some of you see no point in him saying those things to us, but I truly think that whatever he said is true.
Comparing us with the last few batches of xianyue seniors, we shld be considered the slackiest and most undisciplined batch already. I still remember when the sec3 batch was still sec 1, all the SYF seniors were so busy practicing that they rarely had any chance to see us. (Even during sectionals) Ended up me not knowing the existence of seniors like huishan until she became the SL.

If some of you heard those things that mr wong said, I think all of us are going to be emo. Seriously I think that we are not hardworking enough. Looking at band we shld have knwn that they have cca everyday, even morning before school. So I think if co gives us a lot of freedom, we should put in 2 time more effort to achieve the same result.

I admit that I'm not hardworking as a co member, but I did some reflection after today's incident. Sorry for playing and joking around during sectionals, from now on I will be more serious already. ):

& Seriously, it's not too late to start working hard by now. I think on this issue, it's not something that SLs can control or manage. Whether we're hardworking or not all depends on our determination and perseverance. No matter what we achieve in the end, as long as we knw that we've done our best, we can at least feel that we've not let ourselves down.
我们不要在这场比赛留下任何遗憾。

Especially to our beloved Sec2s juniors:

Since it's created such a big 风波 within our section, let's dub it The Lecture.

Perhaps, as seniors, its our fault, for not frequently giving you all lectures and things like that, so the sudden outbursts had made you all unhappy.
Perhaps, as seniors, we have not given enough thought about how your feelings will be drastically affected after The Lecture.

We just want the best for all of you, for all of us. For our big family. That is why on that very fine day, yueyao decides to give everyone The Lecture, that we the SLs and alot of seniors have been wanting to give for a really long time.

Because she cares.
Because we care.

And as a senior, what i do not wish to see is juniors and seniors having conflicts and hating each other because of all the wrong reasons. This time round, i believe all your reasons for your unhappiness are all for the wrong reasons. Why? Because: Everyone do not understand each other enough. We only looked at the situation in their own point of view, and got misled by our own feelings during that time. Why not just sit down and think in a different perspective?

Especially in the senior's perspective.

As seniors, we've been through alot more than you all have. In fact, you've never led a junior before(except the PSLs), until probably a month later, therefore up till now, you all have no idea how we're worried about you all, and how we wish everyone will start to work hard and also learn how to appreciate what your seniors do for everyone.
因为身为学姐的我们，把你们管好是我们的职责，不然我们该如何向前辈们交待？
偶尔训一下，是因为我们心急，要你们改正错误，不是要“伤害你们的尊严”。

i just hope that after all this, you all will let go of all unhappiness you have and dont hold any grudges against any seniors. It will only make you feel more unhappy.

i hope that there will more more self-discipline within you because now that everyone are seniors, the sec1s becoming sec2s and all, you all should know what is right and what is wrong. The older seniors shouldn’t have to keep reminding about what you all should or should not do, because then you all will only be doing what you are told to do,
which will only show that maybe, you are not so ready to be seniors for the new sec1s.
i believe the PSLs have gone through being with juniors, and will have understood how hard it is to try to educate the juniors. maybe we should ask them to share their experiences. We might have the same opinions, yea psls?

No matter what, we're still a big family. Let's work towards our common goal and let all unhappiness go.
